Proactive Buildings: A Prescriptive Maintenance Approach

Prescriptive maintenance has recently attracted a lot of scientific attention. It integrates the advantages descriptive and predictive analytics to automate process detecting non nominal device functionality. Implementing such proactive measures in home or industrial settings may improve equipment dependability minimize operational expenses. There are several techniques for prescriptive diverse use cases, but none elaborates on general methodology that permits successful analysis small size residential settings. This study reports analytics, while assessing recent research efforts multi-domain maintenance. Given existing state art, main contribution this work is propose broad framework be interpreted as high-level approach enabling buildings.
